I don't know if it is the pictures but Maddy's eyes don't look too bruised. Maybe she will get off with just a little. She looks very sweet sleeping. So glad she is healing up faster than expected!
SCG your sewing crafts are really taking on a life of their own. I really love the pumpkin runner you made and the tote bag. Whoda thunk you would be so good at sewing?
Looks like Maddy is eating well. Think she really needs a chocolate malted, unless she prefers vanilla. It always makes me feel better. Well maybe not so soon after surgery.
But sounds like she is really ready to go home- happy day!!
Superchemical girl - the tote bag is lovely, it's like you stepped into a forest scene, what material is the green frame-ish fabric . I know that is wrong but, don't know sewing words except for &%^^*^#@ ouch, darn needle!!
You are a quick study, seems to me you become an expert at whatever catches your attention.
I was thinking the same thing. This is one of the most comfortable (and comforting) and friendly threads that I've experienced. I was scratching my head as well.
Thank you. The fabric is just a tone-on-tone green. And don't worry I don't know the proper words for things, either.
Funny you should ask about the skunks. I was a few minutes later putting everyone to bed tonight on account of the weather and the sewing. Ran into a rather enormous skunk on my way out of the run and back to the house.
Luckily no tails were raised and all stink remained bottled.
