The Old Folks Home

It is the small finished wood that goes against the baseboards. HIdes gaps and gives the baseboard a nice look.

Taking care of someone can be exhausting, physically as well as mentally. Hope the MRI shows nothing serious and no surgery will be needed.
That frosting sounds delicious...how do you make it? Is it similar to the frosting on german chocolate cake?

Yes!

It is much better tasting than the store version.

Deb, neither of us eats shrooms, she just likes to pick them and give them away. The yellow ones are easy to recognize, they're chanterelles, the other is herkkutatti in Finnish.

And yeah, it's a two container composting toilet.

Alaskan, moving the outhouse is loads of work... And no need to protect the paper, it's under a roof.

Well I did it!

My middle DD helped me--Ask @ChickenCanoe how easy it is to work with Penedesencas. I used valbazen and they will not eat treated bread crumbs from my hand--they will not eat anything from my hand. They also did not want me to pick them up. One of them was protecting the others and pecked me! I used a syringe and a feeding tube.

It was very cute and while I had them upside down, I dusted them with poultry dust.

At least the rest of the pens will be easier. I am going to get one pen tomorrow and then wait until after the second treatment to worm the last group.

Now I feel like having pasta. It's 8 in the morning. I like the whole canned tomatoes, or Mutti crushed tomatoes. But quite often I make my sauces from fresh tomatoes, just takes a bit longer.

I used to freeze tomatoes in zip lock bags with the amount of tomatoes to make fresh sauce. It was very tasty.

One of these years I will get a garden space back from the chickens and grow some again.

Ok, have to ask, did you freeze the tomatoes whole..or cut into big pieces? Small? I'm guessing they don't take long to thaw out, or maybe that isn't necessary if they are being put into a blender. I like my own salsa.
