The Old Folks Home

Glad you brought up " reefer madness " wonderful bit of propaganda that is.
Never seen it it but it's referenced a lot in "pop" culture... Or is "pot" culture?

Reefer Madness is only the most famous of a number of "drug films." The best are pre-code - and make Reefer Madness look like a BBC documentary.

Some of the other titles include Marihuana, The Marijuana Menace, and The Road to Ruin (the 1934 version was about the evils of marijuana; the 1928 one focused more on illicit alcohol.)

The basic drill was that young ladies smoked marijuana and got pregnant.

Some of the best ones weren't made until the 1950s; one of the funniest was the one where a Communist agent (played by an actress with what seemed to be an impossibly small waist) was corrupting high school students and converting them to Communism by getting them intoxicated on marijuana.

How much time do you have? First though- it is written for dog people. But there are many similarities between the poultry world and the dog world. Next- yes there is some foul language.

This one is marginally related to poultry. http://thedogsnobs.com/2013/05/21/the-vegetarian-raw-feeder-conundrum/

Even less related but it goes with the first one even though written at different times.

YES! It is hysterically funny.

Oh and additionally, my immigrant self, immigrant wife and soon to be immigrant kids don't fit in your ideology of how America should position itself, but the tax dollars I generate in offshore income is appreciated by your government. My immigrant babies will have an excellent life with all the rights and liberties afforded by any American (save being president). And they will be cared for by an immigrant nanny.

One more.... Child restrictions in China did not see dead kids hanging from trees but millions of female babies did die of sudden infant death syndrome until the parents were blessed with a boy.

In thirty years China will be importing care givers to look after its aging population. It's already importing wives for the sons.

I don't think that you should presume to know what my beliefs are regarding how America should position itself, but I am happy that you obey the law and pay your taxes.

BTW, if you were a legally married US citizen when your children were born, as the children of at least one American parent they would be considered to be native born US citizens and thus able to run for President. Visit the consulate and ask about how to register them.

The Chinese government observed the global debate over a possible overpopulation catastrophe suggested by organizations such as Club of Rome and Sierra Club. While visiting Europe in 1978 one of the top Chinese officials, Song Jian, got in touch with influential books of the movement, The Limits to Growth and A Blueprint for Survival. With a group of mathematicians, Song determined the "correct" population of China to be 700 million. This plan was adopted in 1979 although Communist theory holds that a communist society can support unlimited population growth.

The policy was always intended to be implemented for only one generation.

My last post on the subject.

Perhaps you should read your over inflammatory previous posts (for a chicken website) regarding immigrants and their remittances as well as starving Chinese babies not hanging from trees to understand why I was presumptuous of your position. Perception is reality as they say.

Thanks for the lesson on immigration and naturalization for my family. My kids are adopted nationals of another country. The USA does not offer the same rights for adoptees - at least in the citizenship exam I took.
