The Old Folks Home

World juniors are a good show... Those guys are trying to prove something and it makes for good hockey.
Well, most of the teams in the world championships take it seriously too, but for some reason NHL players tend to be hard to motivate, especially the ones from your southern neighbor. For a country with that much national pride, I can't understand why no one is willing to defend it in a hockey rink.

Why am I reminded of the joke, "We went to the boxing match last night, and a hockey game broke out?"

:lau

OK, what is the floor?  It looks like concrete!

I am SO JEALOUS  :drool I WANT NEW MATERIALS!!   :hit

(sorry, not emotionally stable today...it snowed, and I need to babysit the horrid dog in a week, and I need to abandon the kids for a weekend...first time.....  a bit stressful....  blah...  lots of other stuff too....but the snow, barf. )

It is the 4th of october, so not like it isn't expected, it is just that I am never ready.

It a dirt floor nothin fancy. And DH refuses to have a permanent coop stuck to his shop, so come spring I get to rip it all down and I'm going to use the plywood in my log cabin coop... I think. Concrete would be sweet! With a drainage trough so you could pressure wash it, a girl can dream.
Wow first time leaving the kids, scary. I had a hard time leaving the big guy so I could have the little guy... Can't have babies here had to drive 2 hours, had a C got stuck in the stupid hospital.... They let me out on good behaviour after a few days though. :D

@vehve

Cell contents Where cell J8 is the quantiy and Cell K8 is the total weight....

=IF(J8=0,0,K8/J8) this will return the average weight of the egg if the quantity is one or more... If the quantity is zero then this will force the cell to be zero.

I havent a clue as to how to get no decimal places.....

No, I'm trusting the air inside the tube to heat up so the probe is inside the tube. With better parts I would have put a metal cap on the tube to transfer heat better, but I didn't have anything (although a shotgun shell would have possibly worked. I might switch to that at some point, just take the end cap off of one.) Here's a rough sketch:

the temperature is going to be an average of the whole tube including the part that sticks outside of the ground.... I am afraid. Heat rises... even in an environment that is sealed there will still be air confection... I hope I am not right... Unlessyou can plug off the air above the probe with some sort of cork or packing....

deb, it's a quick fix, I just don't have the energy to look at spreadsheets today anymore. And I can modify the math to be legal, but I sort of would have wanted to find a function that strips error messages from the sheet I'm publishing. I don't mind them in the original.

Its just a logic statement.... Logic is still math.

That it is... Now I went and changed it anyway, I did a quick and dirty fix on it, importing the dates and the values separately, only stripping errors from the values call. The thing that bothers me still is that the frozen cells don't work in the shared version, makes the table a bit difficult to read. I could just publish it as a read only spreadsheet, but then I have to share all pages, or then I could make a completely new sheet. But google has left some bugs in this, it's annoying.

Okay, back to chicken talk, I think we're scaring the pensioners.

Quote: The probe has a "collar" that is a very snug fit inside the tube, I had to push it down, so not much convection will be happening between the probe area and the rest of the tube. Just a happy coincidence, but it works. Anyway, I think the thermometer cost about 2 dollars with shipping from China, so I don't trust it's accuracy that much to begin with. The hygrometer on it is probably completely untrustworthy, not that it would function in the sealed package anyway.
