I like women that "aren't afraid to speak their mind."

I don't feel a man who admires the beauty in a woman is "sleazy" or a "chauvinist pig." We are all geared toward being drawn to the physical attributes of the opposite gender (or sometimes the same.) I can even see considering only the physical attributes as appropriate, when several people are being credited. It can be entirely different from the "whole package" concept where you look at the person's morals, politics, character, intelligence, compassion, etc. I admit, I admire the look of Sam Elliot (and his voice) but have no idea if I would like him as a person. I choose to enjoy the aesthetic without delving into the reality, chances are, I will never meet the man.

I think that men tend to catch flack from the libbers because of more specific targeting of individual body parts which seems to objectify more than just saying someone is "hot." Women (in mixed company, at least) tend to keep their comments general about the whole person whereas, sometimes, men target only certain areas of the body. Even then, if the areas that are singled out are not particularly private parts, it is less offensive. I never mind hearing, from a man, that 'she' has the most beautiful eyes he has ever seen, or that her hair is gorgeous. What makes it "sleazy" or "pig-ish" is when you hear the comments on a 'booty' or a 'rack.'

There are just double standards.... Are they fair... No. Here's another one, to a point a man who has been with many women is "experienced" a women who has done the same... Well you likely know what she would be called. Double standards. Men and women are equally capable of being pigs... Maybe men do it more, maybe they just get caught more, I don't know I've never noticed personally perhaps it is a stereotype.

I have a lot of female friends, and they can be pretty gruesome when they're commenting on someone's appearance too...

When it comes to people who have had a large amount of partners, I don't find that behavior bad. But it's more the appearance of some of those people, I'm not a fan of trashy of sleazy clothing. Women who's private parts are showing are wearing a too short skirt, and men who haven't understood that the top 7 buttons of a shirt aren't meant to be ornamental look pretty silly in my opinion too.

Oz, I've often wondered the same. If a man comments on the shape of a womans buttocks, he's a chauvinist pig. Switch the genders, and she's progressive and not afraid to speak her mind.

I think it's okay for men to comment on specific body parts as long as it's not said in a sleazy way. Jennifer Lopez is one that many men comment on, and said properly, the comments are not sleazy or chauvinistic.

Tonight I made fish tacos.

A 3/4" thick blue marlin steak mainated in lime, tequila and fresh corriander, then sauteed in a dash of olive oil.

Fresh and steaming hot corn tortillas, shredded cabbage, a hint of home made mayo, salsa picante and lime juice.

They were perfection even if I say so myself.
