The Old Folks Home

Peep, once you're older and wiser it's easier to know what you want. But I'm a bit worried when people get married at 18 or 19, that is a bit too quick in my opinion.

Mom and dad were married she was 18 and he was 21. they grew up together (after they married) Oh it had its ups and downs but they were together two years short of fifty years.... Dad passed when he was 69... heart attack.

Oz- were you able to bring your chickens with you to the us? I'd be very interested in your fibromelanistic chickens.
Since the bird flu dramas, bringing birds from Asia to USA is impossible

I am so busy with just trying to maintain my flock that I really dont have a lot of time for project birds. Ii just seems a waste to be in Indonesia and not et them.

I have a similar photo like yours here..

Both are broody. :)

Biscuit..... An awesome name.... Easy to holler too. I choose my doggie names so that If I have to project my voice across a field it will be easy to do.

IMO, 2 syllable names work best for dogs.

I figured it was impossible. There are a lot of countries, mostly SE Asia, Middle East and Africa that are no fly zones for poultry importation into the US.

And being busy is just a New York - "forget about it".

Cute.
Mine were just laying eggs.
I did have 8 out of 9 Penedesenca pullets go broody in a community nest. It was a disaster. They had about 25 eggs between them. They kept stealing eggs from each other and eventually only one hatched and then they squabbled over who was going to show the chick food.
