yep that would be itI don't feed it to them but thay eat it off our pond all summer. We get a ton of it. Our pond is shallow and not at all suitable for using except by the wildlife and growing duckweed.![]()

It's a good protien source.
Hennible your pictures are amazing!
Like us?Or.....sitting in front of the internet all day? Hmmmmm
Like us?... Some have been closed because they had too many posts.
New city ordinances have rescued me from poultry math. They just didn't do anything about my chicken math.I enjoyed the last few pages Kathy... The problem is now I want peafowl again ( talked myself out of it once already )![]()
X2....Some of the purebred threads on the other hand......
I understand breeding to SOP but my lord, if your not showing and like a certain breed I don't see the problem with hatchery birds. ...
There's no danger of that on the Missouri thread. There's usually a post or two each week, whether it needs it or not.I remember when they locked the Washington state thread and then re-opened under another Heading . That was due to an enormous overload of posts.
I call that well rested.I've been sleeping for several hours and don't notice any sub normal activity on posts - I tend to nap a lot every day.
Maybe even worse with dogs and cats.you see that with breed enthusiasts no matter the critter.... dog shows cat shows... .you name it....
OMG I used to show horses... Talk about stage moms... or dads.... My family just said... Go have fun...

I remember when I was a little kid and didn't want a nap but my mother did, she would make me lay down in bed and she'd wrap her arms around me in a death grip while she napped. I would slither ever so slightly until I was out of her grip without waking her judging by her breathing. It would take a half hour or more. Freedom. My mom said she bawled when we were too old for naps.
My mother wasn't that lovely no matter how much rest and food she got.Two sisters, one older, one younger.
my mom really liked her naps..... Still does. She is a lovely woman, as long as she gets her rest, and is properly fed.![]()
If she is tired or hungryrun for the hills, really really fast![]()

I like to debate too, duh! IMHO, If we never discuss sensitive topics, they'll stay sensitive forever. My problem is that I like to debate things. But then the other one goes and takes it personallyBut civilized arguments can be loads of fun.![]()
Very nice hike pictures, and pin cushions.Today it is not supposed to get over 40 degrees. I think the real cold is finally here for the season. Thank goodness SCG got me into sewing. I have a ton of projects going and planned. Yesterday I made the trip to JoAnn. They were having a big sale and were offering 20% off for Veterans. I think it is funny that the first time I "used" my veteran status was to get money off fabric.![]()
...
These are pin cushions
Too quiet, maybe she's under cover.I've seen her several times - in fact, I saw her just yesterday. She's been really quiet, though.![]()
You can get the My Pet Chicken timer much cheaper on eBay.Been there. Plenty of timers but no battery powered that has a relay to turn off an electrical device. If you run across one please rsvp?
Got a cool solar shop lite at harbor freight but only a pull string switch.
That's what I say too. My dad used to call me almost every morning about 10 AM and say, "are you still in bed sleepy head"? And each day I would explain that, "I work till 4 AM, get home at 5 AM and get to sleep by 6 AM, so now I've been asleep 4 hours."I just tell them I was until they woke me up.![]()

I love a GOOD debate. Nothing in a debate should be personal. It's supposed to be about the ideas and information. There is always more than one way to do things, because there is always more than one set of circumstances. Scientists are always learning more, different and new things. So what ever the debate is about the exchange of ideas and information shouldn't be personal. Feel free to jump in!![]()
awesomeHi, Wisher!![]()
We have more than one species of duckweed growing around here. At one point, I was skimming it off the duckpond and feeding it to the chickens; my miniature horses thought it was great, too!
