The Old Folks Home

I wish I could get a 'taster's plate' from everyone's thanksgiving table!

(You know, just a bite or two of all the goodies)

Hello, what do y'all consider middle aged?

Mom always said, "once you started lying about your age, you're right in the middle of it. It's just a number. Now go live it!" Gotta love her logic.

I'm going to live to be 150 so that makes middle age 75.
And it's going to take a long time to get there because I'm 29. Not lying; I just picked 1 number and am sticking with it.

The other place you should NEVER lie about your age is the roulette table. Karma, you know....

Family tradition here is not to start cooking until Thanksgiving Day proper. Of course, you have to get up early....but that way you get to watch the Macy's parade. (Dinner isn't served in the middle of the afternoon, either!)

I bought Tylan50 and syringes, cooked two chocolate pies with meringue, made two pans of dressing, two pans of chicken-broccoli-rice-cheese casserole, black eyed peas, and fruit fluff today. Tomorrow, I will cook a ham, turkey, and give the birds their shots. Then I plan to rest.....

You don't plan to .........eat? First? Then rest? ! !

59 Hee hee um Hee. Grandmas 98 So I expect to live ten years longer than that....

Personally It really depends on your expected lifespan.... but it also has to do with attitude. If you talk to me and listen to the music I love then youd expect me to be around thirty. Healtwise I am substatially older than my age.

so the clear as mud answer.... It depends

deb
I like this answer….

My opinion is that middle aged begins after your personality matures and ends when you become a Geezer..

Asked the question because OP started this for those in Middle age, so guess that makes anyone replying to consider ones self middle aged..

Happy Thanksgiving All.

Reporter: Can you give us some health tips for reaching the age of 101?

Hattie: For better digestion I drink beer. In the case of appetite loss I drink white wine. For low blood pressure
I drink Red Wine. In the case of high blood pressure I drink scotch. And when I have a cold I drink Schnapps.

Reporter: When do you drink water?

Hattie: I've never been that sick
