I had bad acne as a kid. Dermatologist prescribed Retin-A. I slathered it on the first night, got up the next morning and stumbled out half asleep to the rest of the house (my sister was in the bathroom). We had a guest that had spent the night and he was sitting at the dinner table. I sat down, exchanged pleasantries, then headed off to take a shower and get dressed when I heard my sister vacate the bathroom.
Getting into the bathroom I glanced into the mirror and saw that the outer layer of skin was completely hanging off my face in many places.

I can't believe the guest didn't say anything. I never used it again.

I am still mortified, decades later.

So, you understand how bad my friend's mistake was. Wan't funny to her…but after all healed, she could laugh about it...

I've had a couple close encounters with things at work... the worst was spilling a bunch of ketamine down my arm. Despite rinsing it off pretty quickly I could feel a burning/tingling sensation for a few minutes afterwards.



What's everyone's favorite holiday movies? I don't really have a favorite Christmas movie, but I love to watch the MASH Christmas specials. For Thanksgiving I like watching Home for the Holidays and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Yes! I also enjoy Die Hard and NLCV.

My inner child likes Home Alone, Home Alone 2, The Santa Claus, The Santa Claus 2
My adult side likes the Bishop's Wife, The Preacher's Wife, Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, Holiday Inn, and White Christmas.
My inbetween side likes just about all the rest.
