The Old Folks Home

Dixie Nationals (Knoxville, TN) show hall early on Friday. Cooping in and much chicken talk going on.
Wow Wisher that is a huge hall full of poultry! I would be very overwhelmed!

All caught up! Almost 30 pages.
Great pics everyone! Nice hatching video Ron!
Vehve great propaganda. I used to live on a street with the same name as the last propagandist. I may just have to move there. It would feel almost like moving back to my old street! Lol! Not. Haha but the pictures are gorgeous!

DK I hope you start feeling better soon so you can keep your chickies! After having chickens and then not having chickens I would be like this :hit

So I was stripping wallpaper and painting at my daughter's house. My 7 year gd's room, now the 18 year old wants hers done and the bathroom; and the sil wants the hall done to his mancave. Looks like I'm going to be busy for awhile. Good thing I'm not incubating.

The Macon Whoope's have been gone for many years. There was second version here only for a short time. The city is wanting to get another hockey team, but Macon's population has not supported any local team sports for many years. We have had at least 3 different baseball farm teams that left as well.

We still have the second oldest minor league baseball stadium in the Country, Luther Williams Field, and have had several movies filmed here because it still has the nostalgic appeal- was built 1929.
Pete Rose was a Macon Peach. One of my all time fav cardinals and base stealing phenom, Vince Coleman, was a Macon Redbird.

Luther Williams Field was the setting for a film where it was a fictitious Negro League field in St. Louis.

shh not morning yet that would mean I hadnt slept...yet
I slept in till 8:30. That's the latest I've slept in years. I'm usually up by 4, 5 at the latest.

Tell them you'll teach them how to do it and they can finish each room.

Too bad about the hockey team, best team name ever ;). I know a guy who played for them.

Nice video Ron, thanks for sharing. :D

DK I hope you get feeling better soon. :hugs

I told my ex-mil ( she lives with them) "I bet she (my D) didn't know it took so much coffee to get this done" ;)

Yep they could but she asked me to because otherwise she would be doing it in her sleep. Lol. They work long hours and have usually onlyabout a half day on the weekends to do anything like this. It's what I used to do for a side job. Been doing it for 30 plus a long time and know all the little tricks to get it done easier/ faster etc. I did put the limit on any room with a vaulted ceiing. I'm done standing over 5 feet Up.
