I was wondering about an Agouti or some other rodent (I don't see a tail). Whatever it is, I bet the hair could be removed with a torch as part of the preparation.

Might be a Norwegian roof rat... they're huge!

Maybe it's a Nutria? maybe a muskrat?

...or maybe a fake because ears don't survive roasting very well....

I actually feel the same about eating horse meat.... But I would eat it if I were served it in another country.

And I cringe but say nothing when @vehve says hes having it for dinner.
