The Old Folks Home

If I could have ducks, I would love to have the HW...hatched some, but didn't dare keep them in my small area.

Wow, these silver apple yards look similar to the HW!

Your HW's are also very pretty.

I have only seen them fly about 3-4 feet off the ground and for a distance of maybe 15 feet. Yes they are definitely under 5lbs, DH thinks maybe 4. For eggs?...maybe $8 and shipping. Would think shipping is pretty cheap since they're not heavy, have not shipped eggs so not sure. For babies...$8 a duckling.
Edited to add...they don't make good cuddling pets but they are great eggs layers!

If they can fly, I'm out. I lost call ducks that way. Cute, friendly but GOODBYE.

I have the Presto one pictured above. It can double as a waterbath canner, but I have a waterbath canner already so I've never used it except to pressure can. It works well, once you get used to the dial. Basically on high heat until it gets very close to where the pressure needs to be, then turn down to low heat and ride it out, with minimal adjusting.

Hope you let Mrs Oz know. After that visitor you had today, she's likely on edge about "inquire within." You think USPS would ship them?

pant, pant.... finally finished reading everything that I missed.... but that took so long that I can't remember what I read, or if I had any comments.
