Thank you everyone for your kind words! I really am amazed at how much I have been enjoying quilting. Each time I finish something, I want to do the next project so that I can learn a new technique. SCG, you have been a great teacher and I have been getting books to learn other stuff (like the applique). I am really hoping that all this work gets me to the point where I can make the landscape quilt I am planning on. It is one of those projects that you can almost picture exactly how you want it to come out in your mind. I really hope I can translate my "vision" to fabric.

Grandee although it looks like you have been a member for a while. If nothing else, welcome to the old folks home!

Been working on a small table runner for a friend's mom. Trying my hand at some applique work and I am really happy with the results so far. I want to work out some kinks before I do a landscape quilt after these.

stunning work. I would love that. Hummingbirds are amazing.
