Maybe if you try breeding for the blue looking ones you might wind up with one? Just a thought.not right now.... but I will take one the next time we crack a bunch.
The problem is that the blue is very clear when you open the egg, but before you open it the dark spots etc. that are layered on top of a quail egg mostly mask the blue color.
Very interesting.
When looking at quail egg pictures, some look blue, even in a picture... but no one sells just blue looking ones.
