The Old Folks Home

I agree with @hennible
the moose looked female.... and there were a bunch of girl chickens.... but then I had a couple of wonderful rooster shots too!  :D

Isn't everyone in awe of my Rose Comb Dark Brown Leghorn Rooster?

(OK, I am not either..... -sigh-  I think light brown is snazzier..... but I couldn't find RC light brown eggs for sale.... my RC dark brown is pretty close to SOP.... so he IS pretty good for what he is)

I'm Canadian I know my moose and beavers... Not justin beaver though :sick

Oh no, I was mistaken, it's still in there, but she's working on it.

You can see the lacerations in the abdomen. The specimen seems to have some sort of very elastic spine, because numerous attempts at shaking it to break it's neck have not resulted in taking it's life yet. Also note the cold dead eyes of the predator, pictured above it's prey.

SCG Why do you want to torture you mother? When anyone in the family is flying, don't want to hear about crashes and forced landings and looking for black boxes. I try to sleep through the whole thing until they call to say they are okay.

Because she tortured me throughout my childhood and I look forward to paying her back. She has expressed interest in dog sleds, though, and I really do think she'll have a good time with that. She does hate flying, though.

She's going to love this baby.

I have to admit the first time I flew it I was terrified. I was basically back-spooning the copilot. I could see right out the front and coming in for a landing was an adventure in not throwing up. But, most of the time it's cheaper to fly this than to drive another 90 minutes north or south to Bangor or Portland, provided you're staying on the east coast. This regional airport is about 30 minutes from my house.

You know, we really could play BINGO. The smileys are in five columns. Each player could choose the five smileys they want and put them in any order they want before the start. Then the caller could pick them randomly or get a family member to pull them out of a bowl, and post them until someone gets BINGO!

There's also a bingo generator (we use it for work for Meeting Bingo) at http://print-bingo.com/bingo-cards-custom.php to possibly use if we wanted to do words instead of smileys. We'd have to agree on the 24 words to start with...

Wisher if we play smilie bingo, - can we win neat prizes?

Yeah, don't you make hot pads?
