I am so excited I had to share! I have spent a year raising a broad breasted turkey and a standard turkey to cross them and this morning my husband found her first egg it is huge! I am so excited as I have seen them mating. I just hope the egg will be fertile and hatch! Here is a pic of the egg and a bourbon red egg for size comparison.

I am hoping for a turkey that will be big and solid but not as big as the broad breasted but in between the two sizes.
