I guess my point is for people to try and start a feed co-op so it will be cheaper. I tried in vain for a few years, even with our large local chicken group. There was a lot of interest in organic but it never got off the ground. There was an organic mill outstate that occasionally drove loads this way but they were very hard to contact and are now defunct.
The coop fairy already had a co-op going, mostly for dog and parrot feed. She even got a lot of raw meat for the dogs. She had several freezers at the time.
