good plan

my ameracauna is the oldest bird I have from 2009. Her first egg was huge and she's never laid a small egg. The only bird I've had that didn't do the pullet egg stage.
They've been around 70 grams her whole life. She's also raised about 10 broods of chicks.
4 of the 5 eggs due next week are hers. Perhaps olive eggers in my future.

Love to hear of a hen that's been around for a while and still doing well.

Oh my popsicles!!!  Ebony (spawnofsatan) just attacked my thumb. She just injected her longest tooth on the side of my nail bed for no reason. 

What is it with these cats of ours or is it me? She jumped up while my hand was resting on the back of the computer chair and chomped down on my hand. 
It hurts like you know what. She must have hit a nerve. It's bad enough I am allergic, right? Sheesh. I even bought her a new bed today. :/

but I am not laughing.

I am grouchy and crotchety at the best of times.....  but today...

today:

- it is colder out
- it snowed and is threatening to snow more
- the forecast says we shall hit single digits tomorrow
- whoever started the fire this morning 'oopsed' so the house is smoky and and cold (windows open)
- I actually agreed to, and allowed some nasty little boy to come over and spend the weekend with my boys
- no one has brought me coffee

Big hugs and would send coffee if I could. Got to the update and was relieved to hear you r warm now and full of coffee. Much safer and happier, I expect.

ALASKAN maybe you could swap some boys for girls - they'd go off to the mall and leave you alone.


SCG I am sorry about your cat- honestly. I'm sure there are good cats hidden in pockets of this vast nation. I just don't know any.
