I kid, I kid. I found that on the internet. It's snowing and blowing. I have some areas that have 4 foot drifts and other areas that are down to ground from the wind.

I spent the winter of 09/10 working in Maine and New Hampshire. Tried driving up through Franconia's Notch in a blizzard.

I made it the whole way through, THEN I decided to turn around and head back!

Let's say I don't miss all that snowing and blowing and carrying on!

I can imagine. I can do without the winter we had last year for many years to come if ever again. I was stuck for days. (no 4x4)

Luckily this year, it's only been cold and a bit of snow and the snow plows are zipping through all the time. *wonders where that $$$ is coming from*

Too funny. The actual storm is bad, but not awful. It's really the wind that is that bad, causing conditions to be near white-out. BF had to be to work at 3 pm. He left at 11:30 am. We're 22 miles from work.

I'm working at home today. I have called numerous providers offices from hospitals to private offices from Boston to northern Maine in the last few hours. Almost every single place is "closed" except for the essential employees in the emergency rooms and inpatient units. That is unprecedented.

And I used to work for CVS... I'll take my chances with the blizzard.

Pretty sure about the only place the storm is going to approach "EPIC" proportions is the Maine coastline area (lucky girl SCG!!!) Even NYC was saying they "may" have overstated how bad the storm was going to be. My aunt in NH is dealing with the same storm as SCG and it is not nearly as bad further inland. My aunt is not seeing the same winds as you SGC. Glad to see your power is still on though. Stay warm my friend!
