Vehve-your other half's vehicle sounds like ours. Add towels, and what I call a "rescue pack" that has extra socks, hats and gloves. Up here we are likely to run across some dumdum from the city stuck in a snowbank at least once a season, wayyy under dressed for the weather. "But we just thought we would go for a ride north to see the pretty snow".

My young pullets are starting to lay now. Cute little eggs--one of the p Pennes is laying nice dark eggs too!

Does she seem about the same? Is she still eating/drinking/pooping? I left work early yesterday to come home and clean up from the blizzard: Everyone was happy to be sprung from their jail. No one seemed injured except the mental anguish you'd expect from being cooped up for almost 48 hours. This is our weather for tonight:

We ended up with a glaze of ice. Many schools canceled while others had 2 hour delay. I'm here until noon. The hen was the same but not eating much and drinking a little. When I left last night she was more fluffed up than before. @idiotswifeI had posted on here or dixie chicks or both but now I cant remember about my one hen being egg bound. Go figure. Lol. Thanks for asking. I have coffee but am so tired it's not working. So until I get rested see everyone later and all stay safe especially those in the next wave of cold white stuff.
