4 feet of snow seems to be the only thing that keeps squirrels away.

That's good to know SCG Come to think of it - haven't seen any squirrels lately. They updated our mini blizzard - we had a bit over 19" but more snow and dropping temps later in the week. Actually today was bright and sunny and no wind so didn't feel the cold.

It is amazing how much warmer it feels without the wind.

One of these days we're going to be up to 26. Without wind that will be beach weather.

Wow SCG... those pics remind me of when I lived in the northeast. Haven't seen that much snow at one time in quite a while. Hope you, other half, and your animals are doing OK. Looks like that may stick around for a while.

THe snow is gorgeous. Though cant remember the last time we were hit with storm after storm like this. Kids have 2 days off again from school, a repeat of last week. At least flash is working so I can keep them busy learning math on line. YEah. Flash suddenly started working when I opened FOxfire instead of IE.

No judgements, please. We were unable to kill the chick. It is so, so sweet. I put it down on its heating pad next to my computer, and it looked at me and hopped and jumped into my hands. Sigh.

However...





Yes, that is two feet on the ground... barely. Leg is still twisted, and it's swelling up from the tight bandage wrap, but this is the last ditch effort. If no improvement by Thursday, we are culling, for sure. I may need some pharmaceutical help, but that's the decision.
