So this senator that is heping control legislature says that we should allow restaurants to not mandate washing habds because we have too much regulation and it should be the restaurants perogative.

He said he would howver require a sign saying that "this restaurant does not require handwashing by employees"

So he will allow restaurants to remove the sign in the bathroom but instst on a sign at the counter.

A good example of our tax dollars at work. (regardless of party)

I have been in many public bathrooms and I have seen that those signs do little to enforce hand washing. I guess getting vaccinated is also a choice, and so I'm glad I've chosen to get my hep a.

Yes, I have helped it, but my phone is not saving pictures, not uploading pictures.

I got most of its shell off, it's one leg was shaking/trembling. I have it on a damp cloth in the incubator. It peeps, but I think it's leg is kinda messed up.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Leg problems have been devastating over here.

Ok, what do you guys think. One of the 7 week old roos has managed to get stuck out in the run. He's pretty much feathered, so I think he should withstand the cold pretty well. I'd like for him to gather up the courage to get back into the coop on his own. The bigger birds seem to be ignoring him, but he's afraid to go past them. It's about 0C/32F outside.

Should I intervene and get him back in the coop, or should I just wait and see if he goes on his own?

Ok, problem solved. I went to take another look and he ran out of the run, so I had to catch him and put him back to the coop. I think the chicks are going to be big enough to spend time in the run soon.

Chickadoodles, I was scared to death of pressure cookers - my mom had"difficulties" with them. I wouldn't come out of my room till it was over with. After reading about your experience, I won't even approach them in stores.

You never know if they are 'loaded' or not. Better to keep away.

Ya I don't really want another one either. My brother bought me one and I gave it away. Just looking at it made me remember how bad it hurt!
It was an old one that I did borrow from my neighbor and the seal blew out.

On the tea my sister heated up her electric oven to clean it and reached in to grab the element to pull it out and it blistered her hand, I cooled it with a little water and poured tea on it.
30 min. you could not see a red spot.

It's Plantago Major. It's been used to treat rashes, insect bites and wounds. I don't know how well it really works, but at least I imagine it stops mosquito bites and nettle stings from itching, and helps with bee stings too. You gently crush it a bit, and rub it against the affected area.

The one in the picture might not be the exact same plant, but probably a North American variety of it. Around here, they grow in most lawns and it's considered a weed.

Hmm, I don't know how well it would work as an insecticide. There might be some more efficient plants for that.

Okay, just read a bit more about it. Apparently, some of the active ingredients are used in wound treatments today as well, so it should work for that. But the use of the plant has also been linked to tetanus. So I wouldn't use it on open wounds.

For standing water, the mosquito vector district gives out mosquito fish. If a house with a pool is abandoned, they will come put some fish in it.

We can request some too. The vector folks have determined that this is the best and cheapest way to control mosquito larvae.
