@ SCG --Snow has arrived here. TOok DH to get his work truck( Front wheel drive mini truck. Stuck in the snow on a slant, and needing to go backwards. Took us 45 minutes to get it out. I think I should get paid for my time!!! yaaaaaa, right! Drove home the long way to use main roads. THey were untreated and snow was packed from previous drivers. Glad I didnt go the back road. 0WOuld have felt bettter with 4WD, rather than front wheel drive. Parked at the bottom of the drive. DH is headed to work for the duration of the storm.
oH and school is called off for tomorrow.
Still snowing here, too and will be for another 24 hours. I'm not even sure how much we've gotten - maybe 3 or 5 inches? Hard to tell at this point.
I got my second (out of 3 that I will be making) shamrock table runner finished today, along with another set of anti-winter pillowcases. I also swapped out the pocket on my work smock from a winter scene to yellow flowers. It's spring somewhere.
I repaired a breach in the netting between two of the breeder pens and reinforced another to prevent the same issue there. I cleaned out the brooder room and all the brooders. I cleaned all the waterers and refilled them. I put up a shell feeder in one of the breeder pens. I moved the oldest chicks to the Ameraucana pen. I moved two hens out of quarantine and in with their new men. I cleaned all the dead vegetation out of the flower bed by the back door and raked the side yard. I made tacos for supper.
