We had our first Daffodil blooming today! The peaches are beginning to take on the glow they get just before blooming.

Spring is coming!

Glad spring is coming soon to some folks. About 3 out of the last 5 years, we went from winter to Summer with no spring in between - I hate hot weather

My solar dancing flowers from Dollar Tree, bloom every single day of the year and their clacking(dancing) when the sun is out is darn annoying.

Felt like spring today near Las Vegas. We went to the Valley of Fire state park to stay out of trouble in the casinos. Well I admit, I would much rather hike and take photos than gamble any day. Here are a few from our trip.

Oooh I loved the valley of fire.... sandstone.... and cliffs and just stunning views. When we lived in Vegas we never saw it... But when the grandparents came I got to go. Went to the Petrified forest too. I still have a few pieces I use in my big aquarium.

Have a grand daughter over. After going out and taking care of the chickens this morning, we are coming in, and she asks, is it spring? Had to explain to her that we are normally wearing our warmest winter coats and still shivering...along with some good snow boots on.
