ron..are those the chicks that you hatched for the NYD HAL? The white ones are from Trader Joes right? The lavender/blues, are from..??

The lavendar blue chick are from Black, blue splash australorps from ebay. they were described as being production so I hope they will be big and good egg layers.

I used to weigh 245 so I am doing much better now.

Pepe weighs something over 10 pounds. He is to big for my digital scale.

Great Al, now I've got Winter Wonderland playing in my head.

Bama, not enough meat on that bird to be worth eating.

No noticeable improvement from yesterday in Virpi really. We gave her a bit of ketoprofen, and it seems to improve her alertness and make her eat a bit better, so she is suffering from some pain. If she isn't eating and drinking properly by tomorrow, I think it's time to consider culling her.
