True that, saw it on a fb site I'm on.  Good grief, the guy had to repost, in a different way, because they had taken his other post off..they didn't think his birds looked pure.  Those birds couldn't have gotten any more black. Even the combs and wattles.  Usually if you are going to see any other color, it's usually a bit of pink on the comb or waddles, usually the waddles, but these birds looked great.  Not sure what that was all about.
U said "true that"....love it lol
Yeah the latest thing is to make sure the bottom of their tongue has no color other than black.

Okay, Old Folks, I need some advice.  I need some strategies for increasing my energy level, quickly.  I have gotten to where even the chicken chores (normally FUN to me) are not getting done, because I feel exhausted all the time.  I don't do enough to feel so tired.  I have already made some changes to my diet and will be losing a bit of weight, but I want some energy...NOW!  Caffeine is not enough and is spent quickly.  Energy supplements (5Hour Energy) work if I take them early in the day, but will not last until I get off work in the afternoons.  If I take them later, I can't sleep that night.  I'm thinking I need some B12.  Have any of you done that?  Any other suggestions?

I know w this is really behind.... I started taking B12, got the ones that melt under your tongue. Kept falling asleep while driving to work.
I was also told to make sure my iron levels were high enough...so are you taking iron? I hope you are feeling better!!! Exhausted feeling is not fun to go through

Alaskan, if you really want to get a discussion going on genetics - ask Tara (from Pair-a-dice)

thanks!

I actually got some people on the Facebook Leghorn site to answer a bunch of my questions.....

Man, looking at your avatar makes me hungry
