Bunnylady I love the pics wow! Sorry you are getting the freezing rain, we are just getting rain and lots of mud!

chickadoodles, he didn't seem to mind the wound even when he was covered with blood. We just washed it off and he was good to go again. He's been fine all the time, luckily.

That is great!

when i lived in town my son was about five. I bought four pullet chicks at the feed store to raise up. All four hens were EEs and grew up to be singularly beautiful and colorful. Each one had a different pattern...

One day I heard a raspy doodle dooo coming from the yard.... No it couldnt be... then one day my four hens were on the front porch digging in the planter for bugs and I hear it again... Looked out and her was my light brown hen Doodle dooing complete with the flap of the wings. I knew she was a she... yet here she was doodle dooing.

Surprisingly one day not too soon after that I heard a LOUD Brassy Doodle do and some commotion in the yard. Yep here was a white Leghorn Roo on the outside of the chainlink fence trying to figure a way in. Remember this is the city... not the country... I have NO clue where he came from.

She was calling for a Bo....

When I lived in NC back in the 60's, never did you see anything like that bunny! Just crazy. You all are getting the cold, we are not, like we usually do. It has gotten a bit cooler than it's been this month, finally. Still, my tulips are up at the height they usually are in the middle of March! And, we have buds on our trees! My DH went out yesterday and trimmed the cherry tree. Was going to wait until mid March, but may as well. The apple trees are next.
