The Old Folks Home

many years ago i had a really young guy come through my cath lab,

he spoke of devices that would one day be powered and received data through this port he was working on

just imagine...
That kind of discussions are cool.

I worked at a certain technology company one summer. I'm still bound by a NDA, but the tales of products that had been under development and scrapped were pretty amazing. Sometimes things are just before their time.

this guy worked for a rather large software company that is based in Seattle area. In those days atleast, their hardware development was is Santa Monica

I do love new technology

I have been privvy to a few R&D labs as a consultant with new cardiac devices. Some of the stuff of the future is pretty bloody amazing

Quote: Gorgeous!!!!!! THe mares have been coming in heat since January . . . . these boys are killing me . . . . darn not think about breeding . . . .

Trackpads are handy sometimes, but I prefer a proper mouse any day. And laser mice are pretty cheap these days.
Felix, are these a mouse with out a wire?? I saw a woman using her laptop today with a cordless mouse . . . .

I been on the mechanical end for Gene splicing tools.... Bloody amazing indeed and bloody scary too to know what kinds of people buy them...

Used to be it took twenty years to map the human genome... Now it takes an hour or two...

deb
i did a clinical reseach trial on angiogenesis using gene therapy that was transported on an adenovirus vector and we injected directly into coronary artery blood flow

i had to do the mixing - full sci-fi movie suits with respirators

Ya these cheap bators are not worth the money at all. But I am extremely happy with the two hova bator's genesis 1588 Ron highly recommended them to me and many others. They come from the factory set at 100* and you don't touch anything. The Brinsea's are very nice but cost $$$. Good luck with selling the caravan.
I do hope you get a nice bator that will work great for you. :)

long stinking link but it is for stuccu bargain web site. It has the Hove Bator 1588 at a variety of prices. What is a good price for one? I have been considering buying an incubator.

With the advent of Chick Days at the local feedstore, Squeak the solo hatchling White Marans got a companion. Well, actually two because if Squeak is a boy, then the companion needs to have a companion. (Chicken math at work....) Anyway, DH picked them out and now we have Annie the Ameraucana and a yet-unnamed Minorca.

Thought y'all might like a chick pic this morning to start your day off...

trying to pose chicks is like trying to herd cats....

All this talk of mice made me think of this

OOOOh it is so cute I just want to squeeze it!!! At the same time I feel bad for it being forced into a sweater.

Puddin we bought two of the 1588's and the ones we got were from the incubatorwarehouse.com and the first one we paid about 150. it came with a turner, the second one I got with out the turner as I have one that needed a motor replaced so I ordered the motor from the same place. They also sell the parts. Ron showed it to me and saved me a bunch of money.
I hope this helps.
