I got my first 3 ducklings hatched..... YEAH!


They are so soft and sweet!

Great quilts! I wish there were more hours in a day and days in a week. *sigh*

I used to love to read and would stay up all hours. Now reading much makes my eyes go crazy, even on large screen computer. But ya do what ya gotta do. So I don't read many books anymore.

Since there are only so many hours and days I better get going and do what I gotta do. Have a great day all!

Morning all. Yes, I loved Lisette, but nothing surpasses "The Stand". It is Kings masterpiece and his most popular. The mini-series was okay, but the book.......

I've only got until the 9th to complete the growout pen for the new Sebrights. SIL will monitor them until it's time to move them outdoors. This is a labor of not love but tolerance because he hates taking care of chickens. My knee replacement surgery is on the 10th. Sigh

Linda I did love The Stand (yet another one that may be readable for you SCG) and read it a few times. I actually loved the Gunslinger saga better. SCG that is a set of books of his you should be able to read. Not super scary, a lot more old western/sci-fi/saga than horror.

Perchie - wow your mom has a good time and that's what count.s I think my oats blew away after menopause.

Mine started about six years after my son was born... I had him when I was 34.... working single mom kind of ended my going out any way. By the time I felt it was appropriate I had become too fluffy and to sedentary to socialize.

Oh well. Hes 25 now... and my child rearing has moved to the Grandmas...

Woo Hoo on the surgery.... I hear nothing but good things about it... Make SURE you complete all the physical therapy though.


My favorite of Stephen Kings was the Fire Starter... The book. The movie was good but not nearly as good. Of course Drew Barrymore made the movie...
