The Old Folks Home

OOOH I love the Green Mile, I saw it on tv a few times then bought the video. After that I was a huge fan of Michael Clarke Duncan - sadly he passed a year or so ago. And even sadder they usually had him play some thug or assassin. He was much too good an actor for parts like that.

Michael Clarke Duncan was an impressive man.... Loved him in Armageddon acutally loved him in everything he played in..

Morning all. Yes, I loved Lisette, but nothing surpasses "The Stand". It is Kings masterpiece and his most popular. The mini-series was okay, but the book.......

I've only got until the 9th to complete the growout pen for the new Sebrights. SIL will monitor them until it's time to move them outdoors. This is a labor of not love but tolerance because he hates taking care of chickens. My knee replacement surgery is on the 10th. Sigh
Yes, the book.
Have you had Sebrights before? That's nice of him to do that for you. Good luck on that surgery.

X 2 - an impressive man who did well in all roles he was cast for.
x3 Loved MCD I still can't believe he's gone.

@ linda-- wow , the 10th will come fast. FIL had both knees done years ago-- many manyyears on the basketball court. HE said it was worth taking his pain meds and getting to the PT asap. Like with in days after the surgery. Racketball and basketball are not in his cards but golf and cards are these days. Praying all goes well and you have a quick recovery time.

My favorite of Stephen Kings was the Fire Starter... The book. The movie was good but not nearly as good. Of course Drew Barrymore made the movie...

Major flashback moment . . . . Firestarter was one of the first movies filmed here in Wilmywood. I was working for Domino's Pizza at the time, and remember delivering pizzas to the set.
