Hmmmm..... Watched "Expendables 3" last night. Remember the old adage "you can never go home"? Sometimes it's just better to keep memories of your 1980's action heros and sex symbols when they were young, juicy and in their prime....not view their creaky, saggy carcasses 30+ years later.

Okay, Okay... Dolph Lungren (sp) still looks pretty hunky (alas, he wore the worst outfits), but Ahh-nold made me want to barf and you can spare me the withered Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas. Ick.

And, sadly, the whole movie is a set-up for Expendables 4....more mindless explosions and dialogue that's nothing but snappy lame repartee. Oh, no!!!!!

Want to see and 80's rocker who is ageing well - Bon Jovi. A friend showed me a pic of him at age 50 that is somewhere on line --- WOW.

First King book I ever read, the only one on the shelf in our junior high library that was PG for him was Eyes Of The Dragon. I was hooked, asked if there was anymore, yeah in the backroom you have to have parental permission. I read everyone they had, many sleepless nights and tired days at school, boy they were thick books. Eyes Of The Dragon received poor reception from his fans because it was wrote PG, but some literary reviews said it was the best thing he ever wrote.

When I had to renew my state ID at 65 I was thrilled to see that there was NO expiration date. That takes a big load off the mind when you are getting "up there,' in age. I wonder who was kind enough to think of that.

The time before that, the $ 5.renewal fee shot up to $ 20.

I guess they figured that would make up for free lifetime renewal at 65. Or else they were figuring you don't have much time left.

I know, I know,

I should regard the glass as half FULL, and shut up.

too sweet looking for me.... I like em beat up... Um er Rugged looking

Like: Harrison Ford, Stallone, Ron Perlman, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Kevin Costner even... though Hes not rugged Hes not real purty either.

Matter of fact I didnt like Stallone at all till he got older. Not into rambo but when he did that movie with Dolly Parton called Rhinestone... I went over to the darkside then... Not only did he pull it off but he taught Dolly how work out.... exercise her assetts... ahem... But she slimmed down and looked soo much better than she did before.

O there are some eye candy ones i like... But we already discussed that a few weeks ago.
