I have white leghorns and just started with Filipino native chickens, i'm going to try and cross breed the two and see what the results are, should be interesting.

Made a five gallon batch of Maple Imperial Stout once, it was excellent!
I used five gallons of maple sap for the boil instead of water and added a quart of maple.syrup to the fermentor.

Hi everyone. I did NOT drop off the face of the planet. The house we were renting was sold, so we had to move. UGH!! We rented a house 4 doors down, on the opposite side of the street. Not a long haul, but lots of cleaning, sorting, and setting things back up to get our household up, and running again. I still don't have my computer set up, so I"m on my laptop. Hopefully we will find a place we want to buy, in the near future, and we will have one more move, and that's it, however, when we move into our own place, I'm not falling for the nonsense about doing ourselves to save money. I will hire help to move. We're too old, and it's too big of a job for us.
