Check out my new chicken harness. Oh wait no Turkey harness. lol

This turkey is about a month old now and she needs to grow a bit more so the harness will fit. lol

SCG did you still put the turkey egg you cracked in the brinsea? I have had them open for a couple days just had to keep spraying them with warm water to keep them from shrink wrapping.
I wish you a great hatch!

I'm sorry your styrobator died.

My styrobator didn't die... just the temperature fluctuating outside makes it hard to regulate when the inside temperatures fluctuate 50 degrees or more...

I left the turkeys in the incubator, which is a Brinsea, along with the 2 half incubated duck eggs. I came home just a few minutes ago to find one very lethargic, freshly hatched turklet.

The other 3 turkey eggs are in the process of zipping.

Sounds like an awesome hatch SCG!!! :weee
I gave seven turkey eggs to my two broody hens Saturday afternoon. Hopefully they will stay put and hatch them. I know Broody Biddy will stay put because I didn't try to force her into a brooding box. That always breaks her broody attitude for about a week. I think she was shocked when I gave her the eggs though. This is the first time I let her set. The other hen hasn't gone broody before so she might be a little more iffy about this whole thing.

Chickadoodles, I bet if people saw you walking a grown turkey on a harness, they would all want one. Imagine those celebrities with one instead of a small dog stuffed in their purse. I'm sure turkey walking would be a great trend.
