I guess I'll need to mark them and do a taste comparison... we were thinking of keeping the boys and girls on slightly different diets and see how it affects the taste.

But my gosh those kits were cute... erm... I mean delicious looking. They're starting to sniff around a bit, I think in a few days they'll be trying some solid food. We left some close to the entrance. And I'm adding Progut yeast to the bunny feed to ward off diarrhea.

No delicious! I want the one with the black ears, black eyes, and the black across it's mouth are...cute! How can you think of eating such cute critters. Go hunt the homely ones out in the field. But don't don't show us.

There are some pretty cute ones out in the field too though, hmmm, just go buy some chicken for petey sake.

Diva, no idea. I only saw them live for the first time today, and I'm not about to go bother Hilma as long as they're that small still. I don't know if I could tell the difference anyway, especially at this age. Karin can probably sex them once they grow a bit more. I hope one of the spotted ones is a female though, they look pretty cool.

Cyn, I would have to trap those wild ones to be able to hunt them around here. Technically I could probably do that. Not a bad thought, really... although Karin's parent's place would be better, it's closer to the city and they have a butt load of feral rabbits there.

SCG, as bad as it was with all of that snow, at least you will have water usage. Wish we could have brought truck loads and truck loads of it over here.

Cynthia you picked the same bunny I did - we obviously know our bunnies. I'm willing to let you have her- if only we can get Ninja bunnies or something to bunny nap her and bring her to safety.

It doesn't taste like chicken, and the structure is different, but it's very similar to chicken. Just has more taste.

Luckily, there are two spotted bunnies, and one more with white markings (Bunnylady tells me this is called "booted" if I understood correctly).

. There is a family story about me looking at just born kittens(I was three years old) and asking how long it would be before we could eat them!

So.... Does cat taste like rabbit or chicken?

(I don't want to personally first-hand find out, but just curious)

I think it would be impossible to have an ugly baby bunny. Heck, even the most mismatched patchworked together puppy has cute attributes. It's the best defense mechanism in the world....
