The Old Folks Home

dunno I get on, I read... but no, not feeling witty.

Also, my mom is in town, I love her, she is awesome.... she is also cleaning through the filth in which I live one room at a time.

Spouse and I both are finally happy to let her do it, and toss out whatever she wants....

Also, I have been cleaning over at the church... we are shifting where the coffee hour spot is going to be... and what a pain! The place coffee hour is moving into had to be totally detoxified (person that used to live there was a smoker, and smoked inside

)

The kids and I have spent day upon days scrubbing walls and counters and taking down all of the ceiling tiles, and sweeping and moving stuff.....

The new ceiling tiles arrived today, along with my new washing machine!

My mom spent the morning cleaning the laundry room, as well as the area where the old washer had been (wow was that bad!). I don't think the laundry room has been so clean since it was built. I was able to walk into the room and actually touch the windows!!!

We will start putting up the ceiling tiles tomorrow, and then we will have to clean up the dust, and then more moving of stuff!

Look up a product called Ozium..... kicks butt. Cat sprayed walls once cleaned and sprayed with Ozium..... never leak out the smell again.

I used to clean all the hamster and rat enclosures in the pet store.... our ozium came in a teeny bottle like eye drops. ONE drop per enclosure.... then new bedding It was aweseom.

To get rid of the smoke layer....409 is really good....but I found something better.....and aptly named: 'Awesome' !

If you have a Dollar Tree near you....they should have it....and.....IT ONLY COSTS A BUCK!

Good excuse Alaskan, as long as you are okay. When you mom finishes up your place, wish you would send her here. I can't get near anything with the junk and chaos just the bathroom, refrigerator and computer - well worn paths.

she will probably need an extended vacation after cleaning up after me!

poor mom!

Diva, you are great at snow removal... maybe take your snow shovel and shovel all of the mess and clutter out of the house.

It sure is nice to have all of the junk gone! I don't think that I could have tossed out my clutter by myself..... but I was fine with her tossing it.
