Thank you very much for the wonderful compliment Deb. :hugs I can't take credit for the pattern, I found that online. I do love how wonderfully colorful the design is though and it will eat up a lot of my scraps which also makes me happy.

No smoking.... I have other vices

and whips and chains and cuffs.. oh my.

We are caring for our daughter's dogs while she and her family are on vacation. The pugs are two little degenerates who think that the house is a place to urinate and defecate.

Crate them and take them out - they urinate constantly. Bring them inside and it is almost guaranteed that they will defecate on the floor and then go urinate on something. They are consigned to the kitchen and laundry rooms - tile floors. They are very lucky that someone like my daughter owns them. They have no redeeming qualities. The 10 month old black lab on the other hand is a total sweetheart. She is boisterous, clumsy, and mischievous but still great fun. She has become my shadow and follows wherever I go. She went for a run with me today. After 20 minutes she was willing to trot by my side. I think that I wore the girl out.

Mom has one of those degenerated dogs... her house is carpeted with PP pads... I wont go in there any more.

Problem is with an adult dog it takes intensive training to fix that behavior if it can be fixed at all... There can be NO scent of urine in the carpet or on the floors or on the furniture... to start.... then every day inspected for "accidents" you didnt notice. even little ones like a drop or two... So Black light and Natures miracle in your arsenal for ever.

Its soo much easier to do it right the first time... even me an old softie who never heard of crates. Dad used to catch the dog and shove its nose in it then drop kick it outside... Only makes em afraid when they see it....

You feed the dog and within a few minutes they need to go.... day time is easy... take em out after meals and praise the heck out of them when they do their job..... at night When I got a new puppy I would take them in bed with me at night time. Under the covers.. Puppy is in its den all nice and warm and content... When they move you get up and take em outside... My pups usually stopped moving around after the first week or two. Slept all night and first thing in the morning outside to do business.

I am also a doggy door person with a secure yard they can do their business anytime they need to.

Sigh I miss my dog...

Yep that's what parents are for - dump the dogs/cats on them Used to have my sister's dog dumped on us. First thing she would do was go to our dog's bed and piss a river in it. They she'd leave surprise dumps anywhere she could think of. Now my sister lives several states away - has a young dog that eats blankets, and everything else and has to board him. Much better.
