places. Has watched buddies get serious injuries from IED's.

Cynthia, you have a family to be proud of. I salute them, and all the others who serve(d) in the uniforms of our country.

I, maybe naively, find it amazing that after all the conflicts the US has been involved in that only 7% of all living Americans have served in the military.

I would like to see every kid upon graduating highschool at least go through bootcamp, would be good for them and good for the US.

CC I bet that 7% doesn't include servicemen, who died in the line of duty.

Right, they're no longer living, sadly.

We've lost some of the best of us.

In too many cases, needlessly.

I'd say that's more than 7%.

No way! Why so early? Will have to go see what's going on already. Trying to decide if I want to this yr. I've hatched so many, didn't expect to do the Halloween Hatch A Long, and got soo many to hatch!

Somebody might want to hatch Geese! It is already too late for emu....

I started last years NYD hatc a long at the same time.

After a marathon sewing day I have BIL's present almost done. I finished MIL's card holder last weekend. We are ready to go to AZ for Thanksgiving now.
All I have to do is bind it and I have to do some lettering with fabric paint and it will be done.


MIL's card holder. The blocks on the sides and the bottom are pockets to hold Christmas cards. DH is modeling it for me
