I had to take today off. My migraine that started Friday night is over, but I'm in the "hangover" stage now. I feel foggy, stupid and confused. I lack coordination... much worse than normal!

We got our first real snow of the season last night, too. It's only about half an inch, luckily.
 
Chickadoodles is right! Music, music, music. I like a good Latin Salsa beat for cleaning.

And, agreed, cleaning is a drag. I've been getting the house habitable for the kids and grandkids and to what point? Within half a day there will be Cheerios strewn everywhere, little muddy feet, and nothing where it's supposed to be. At least the dogs will help with the Cheerios.... I think bourbon will help with the rest.

I heard on the news that a new study shows that a glass of champagne a day will help keep Alzheimer's and dementia at bay. (Actually the bubbles in it) I think.
So we bought a bottle. We will try to drink a glass a week.
 
Chicka... don't forget the studies that state a beer a day is good for the heart as well as lowering bad cholesterol. Or the ones that prove a glass of red wine each day prevents a number of nasty diseases as well as promoting good blood circulation. I also understand that high quality vodka is a good preservative... So you/we should add a glass or two of that daily as well. From personal experience, I can attest that a few tropical drinks such as pina colladas (just for example... I believe it has something to do with the tropical fruit/juices mixed in) are stress relievers and mood enhancers. And then there are the sleep aids such as a good straight bourbon or even cognac before bed. I mean the possibilities are endless!
