Roo goo is pretty potent. I had a chick from an egg that was a month post-visitation. Got feathered feet on a supposedly pure BLRW and had to contact the seller with a "What happened here???"
(Kept the chick as she was REAL cute, but got some replacement eggs)
Yes!Seems like a number of folks have been getting sent "oops" eggs
Seriously, chickens are not people and they do not work the same! Geesh, Did their mother sit on an egg to hatch them? Then why on Earth can't they understand that things are different...
Hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Thanks for the morning laugh, Ron.
Whenever people ask me if hens need a rooster to lay eggs I just look at them and deadpan, "do I need a rooster to lay an egg every month?"
It takes them a few minutes but they usually get it.
Tried to go outside to let the biddies out this morning and ran into a skunk.I hightailed it (pun intended) back to the house. I'll have to go out later before we leave for work and hope all the muck out there is frozen and I don't get it on myself.![]()
Thanks!Ron:

That's the problem with predators, or any other pest . . . . As long as there is a potential food source, there will be something trying to exploit it. "If you build it, they will come."SCG so the skunk issues are not resolved? I thought they moved to greener pastures some time ago.
