The Old Folks Home

Welcome tj

Al, I LOVE that quilt. Really, I do.

Sally, I started with Golden Comets, then after I got a few years experience under my belt, I got a SQ breeding trio of LF Black Australorps from Matt1616. I then hatched some out, and did pretty good at the last poultry show.

How about this weather?

We set a new record high today at 72. It's 10PM on December 12 and it's still 68F out.

use peanutbutter tonite. DO NOT set the trap let them get comfortable all over the stinkin thing once they figure it will not hurt them and there is no fear or caution BOOM set the trap and catch your rat.
good plan

We had 57 today - woo hoo!! very unnatural for us I think tomorrow will be warm too and then drop and so on. All the crazy weather has gotten a lot of folks ill. The body can't adapt that fast from one extreme to another - too stressful.

Its 41 right now at 11 pm. Its rained and gotten cold enough the trees turned over night. and the next day the wind blew the leaves off.

Might not sound so rremarkable other places but we haven had an actual winter here in about twenty years.

I love it

@bruceha2000 Yeah, but you have more layers, I've only ever had 6 girls max, and now there are only 5. I agree on them being slackers though, 36 weeks is a bit late to start laying :p

I'm good, how are you? Roof rails still in their place?
