I rinsed and repeated a few times. I have an 8x20 coop. One bird on the roost. That's all it took.
For those of you with high copays, call your insurance company. Find out what's lower on the tier in that drug class. Enbrel might be tier 3 but Humira might be tier 2. Oral methotrexate might be tier 1. Then talk to your doctor about switching, how the medications differ, how the dosing and frequency and side effects differ. It might be worth it to switch. Most drugs have a lower tiered preferred product on each insurance plan and many have an older generic drug that isn't quite the same thing but often does the same thing on the cheapo list.
Also if you cannot afford your copays often the companies that make the products (if they're branded) have a program to help you afford them if you're really poor. The qualifications differ depending on each program, but calling to find out what's what doesn't hurt anything.
BF's X-mas gift arrived Thursday. It is a table saw. I paid $55 to have it delivered versus going to go pick it up. Last year I bought him a small "big green egg" smoker and after it was loaded in my car I couldn't get it back out and I had to get him to get it out. Not much of a surprise. This year I thought I'd be smart. Pay to have it delivered, be home, and have them deliver it to the basement where I could hide it. I had planned to be cute and wrap a gift clue so he could go find it.
I scheduled the delivery for Monday 21 December... thinking I could get out of part of work to be home.
I get home on the very rainy Thursday last week to find a soaked saw box sitting by the garage door.
I struggled, but managed to get it inside the door with about a 2 inch door clearance. Then the box began disintegrating. And stuck to the concrete floor.
Being unable to move it further, and having to leave for class, I stuck an old red bow on it that I found in with the wrapping paper, sent BF an "I'm sorry, but Happy Xmas" text and went on my way. He would physically run right into it as soon as he got into the door.
He did.
We're going to put it together today to ensure it works since it was soaked.
Next year I'm getting him something light.
