The Old Folks Home

So cool! All of those grocery store eggs!!!! What a super economical way to replenish an egg laying flock!
Yes! The eggs were $2.99 per dozen or about the shipping cost of a dozen hatching eggs. I have to do this since the Chicken Cops busted me--now more Roosers at my place :hit
Shipping is 2.99?!?!?!?! it costs over $20 to ship eggs to me!!!!!!! And what is the issue now.... No more roosters? So how will you breed? What will you do? You can't keep a rooster in the garage? :hit

Al! I found a product you have to buy! I tried out my new Yak Trax traction cleats today, super good traction. I could even walk on slippery roots no problem. Then I tried them on the equivalent of skating rink ice, I could get them to slip a bit if I really tried, but I could also walk surefooted with them.

Love SG's! I've hatched a few this winter too. What color are these going to be?

Here is the mom. I have no idea about the dad. These are my first..... an impulse buy.

SGs. I assume that's Show Girls? It took me a while.

That's right, CC, very good..... try to keep up.

Would they work in mud?

Those are a must for me, too. I have a couple pairs. I just spread some ashes on the most slippery spots out there.

And it looks like guineas don't eat rats. Rats.
