We escaped this weekend.

We were invited to a birthday camping party for our grandson. Fishing and fun!
A nice creek that joins the Alabama river. Not far from home.

I need more chick keeping space


Stupid chicks han't all sold... They are getting close to flying out of the brooder, and next weekend more will be hatching.


Ah! I could put them in the green tractor you say... Nope says I, I have 4 bantams in there.


I could put them in the quail cage you say, nice and draft free, perfect for young chicks.... Nope says I, I have my Spitz pair in there.





Oooh, maybe I could put the spitz in the overflow coop.... And then the chicks in the quail cage.... Hummmmmm

Um, something sounds "urban myth" about that. Illegal aliens cannot vote therefore cannot register to vote, so why would the inability to get a voter ID card matter?

Ummmm, you must understand, we are talking Wisconsin here, at least the southern half. We have a very large, very nuts, very active liberal bunch and they have been going off the deep end every since the sane folks managed to regain a slim control of the state. Long story if you haven't followed the political craziness here for the last couple election cycles. Remember we had several state legislators run and hide in a Best Western in Ill for more than a week trying to stop a vote, we had teachers (as well as a whole slew of bussed in professional protesters from the east coast) holding the capital building hostage for weeks because they didn't want people to have the right to not choose to join a union etc, last presidential election cycle state dems were caught in several cheating scandals, from "forgetting" to add the counts from several districts in their vote counts to getting busted for running "free rides to the polls" where they were going down to the south side of Milwaukee and picking up winos, giving them cigarettes if they would vote for Obama. (Honest, it wasn't made public until after the election of course) Oh, and even bussed "voters" in from Illinois. Up until this year you were not required to give ANY form of ID to vote and to register all you had to show was a light bill, etc. to prove you lived in the district. The "undocumented worker" (as they call them) as they claim should have the right to vote but can't if they have to have a state ID or other proof of citizenship. The state ID was supposed to be in place for the 2014 cycle but they kept throwing up roadblocks in the courts. The final ruling came down barely in time for this year's primaries. After fighting and losing on the "all residents should have the right to vote without fear of arrest, their last argument? It was too inconvenient and costly (the ID card is totally free) for the homeless and elderly to go down to the local police station to get the card. Solution settled it. Now the tax payer picks up the ride fair.
No urban myth, just Wisconsin.

And didn't the CA legislature decide that even illegal aliens should have the "right" to drive and have a drivers license?

and if memory serves, I believe it was several Chicago suburbs that had 110% voter turn out with several precincts voting 100% for our presently sitting illegal president... there were similar 100% supporting votes in several areas of western PA if I recall. and similar voter turnouts (110+%) in many areas around the country.

Ooh ME WANT. There was one in the parking lot of Walgreen's. Though I dont want one to actually travel in .... I want one to live in when I remodel the house. There is a place where I can hook up septic and water.

The kitchen needs to be gutted and its access to the bathroom. So having someplace secure where I can live would be nice.
