Wisher may (or may not) have arranged a police helicopter ride for us. The pilot's name was Brian and he was a very good sport.

Our last day of hiking we went to Cave Creek nature preserve and Dismals Canyon. Both were very pretty. Now all the fun is over and I have to go back to work

For some reason, ferns have always fascinated me, particularly the fiddleheads. This picture puts me in mind of a Japanese flower arrangement. Love it!

I am home safe and sound(ish).


BF took better care of the animals while I was gone than I do. He bought the birds a flock block, changed out the batteries in all my motion lights outside, bought the turkey in the basement meal worms and even scooped poop boards!

How many guineas do you have left, same number as when you left? Maybe he is trying to distract your attention

We had such a fun time visiting with Wisher. I've spent most of today going through the pictures and getting them edited. I still have our last day to do but I am about pictured out for now. Wisher even was able to arrange for a helicopter ride for us. Most excellent time was had to include lots of zany laughter
