I got hot sauce in my eyes once. You ever put your contacts in inside out? Now that's painful.
I've been wearing contacts since I was eleven, kept breaking or losing my glasses running around the place. I used to check them, and then I just thought what the heck, and just put them in whatever way they came out of the packet. It was a Sunday, I woke up really late, made myself a spicy chicken wrap and then went to put my contacts in without washing my hands. Not only that, but I put it in Inside out. I totally freaked out, tried to get it out and ended up pushing it to the back of my eye. And then there are times I've had allergies, or got shampoo in my eyes while wearing them. It's taken me years to get used to wearing them, and I still do stupid things every now and then. Maybe when I'm twenty one I can get laser eye surgery. Knowing me that'll probably go wrong tooWhen I first started wearing contacts in my early 20s I wore them a whole day inside out, I didn't know. They'd be alright for awhile and then irritate the heck out of me. I stopped at our local pennysaver newspaper place (pre Craig's List or even online ad days) to post a ad. When I got to the counter they started bothering me again, OMG! I couldn't even open my eyes...then they were fine. Later that night stopped at a buddies house that always wore contacts, he said they were probably inside out....now how I could get both of them in like that at the same time I don't know...
Never made that mistake again. Lol!
"Penny Saver," oh my, how I remember and miss that. It was great for selling almost anything and fortunately nothing creepy like Craig's list has become. Even got a couple of dates through. Okay so 'that' was a little creepy.
