Last week there was a post on here about a Presidential candidate laughing. It went over my head at the time but I did run into something today.

Please, when you see stuff like that, check snopes.com to see if it is true. They do a good job of figuring stuff like this out. My DW was very alarmed this week because someone posted on her Facebook that a super volcano was erupting at Yellow stone. There is even a fake website about it because it is an Internet Hoax from 2014!

We will be seeing a lot of mud slinging Until November and this is one of them.

That is such a shame too cause many young don't do their research. Even when they do it is so hard to figure out the important issues among the muck. This has been the hardest election yet for me to decide what is what. I feel badly for the younger voters.

Speaking of which,I just got my ballot for the state electoral. I am going to have to spend some time researching.

My oldest was asking me how people decide who to vote for.. I told him a lot of people vote based on party which has created the two party system. I vote on issues that are important to me and by my conscience. We discuss issues but I try to lay it out and let him form his own opinion. I want my kids to be free thinkers which is difficult in this household.

Very tough not to lay your own bias on the table. My son is an honors kid. Really book smart.. But book smart doesn't necessarily mean wise. Lol

It is a shame when people don't do their research, and rely on the biased media, biased websites, Politifact, Snopes, both biased websites. All of them are biased one way or the other, best to read both sides.

Agreed. And ask yourself questions. How does this particular issue effect me my family my community then my country.
