We got thunderstomped all afternoon today, though it really didn't add up to much - a little more than an inch of rain, all told. The storms didn't seem to be going much of anywhere, they just kept regenerating and raining themselves out. It's been pretty typical summer weather here - hot, humid, and a chance of rain almost every day.

This is what I've been working on this summer:

Wow that is so awesome!

I'm still here Alaskan - I had no idea you have launched some of your kids. Who's going to do all the slave labor for you? LOL. Are you a grand parent yet?

I've hear Alaska is the place women go to meet men & get married. (many more men than women) I'm too old to make the trip.:( As long as they still make ice cream I can hold it together.

Alaska, where the odds are good, but the goods are odd (referring to the guys up here)

And no worries... Kids will be back in a week.

However, eldest is leaving me for a bit over 2 months this fall.... :barnie second child is nowhere near as strong as first child!!!!

Hopefully I have smacked my kids about the head enough, that grandparenthood is no where close. :fl

I see where I flubbed up, I thought Alaskan said the older kids and spouseS (not spouse) were leaving. I wondered why Alaskan never mentioned they were seriously dating or engaged or something. DUH! Well for one thing I did not sleep Sunday night. I was up so long, it was a little over an hour before the senior bus would come - so I stayed up, ate junk food and did my "hidden words," word find puzzle book, I get at Dollar Tree.

When I have to be sociable for any length of time - I am exhausted and have to sleep it off. No joke it just wears down my batteries when I have to be outgoing.
