BF told me to go out last night with a black light and "hunt" for hornworms on my tomato plants - the thought being the white on their backs would glow.
Well, it appears everything glows under a black light (I apparently missed that part of my teenage years). Especially giant spiders.
Never thought of taking a black light outside, that might be cool.
Scorpions glow in black light... so does Urine....

they are called bark scorpions
No way you can keep them out of the house because they are just about as thin as that dime...

and now that I read up on them probably the most venomous scorpion in the United States and Mexico....none of us have ever been stung....![]()

On a more "gentile" note, I always take my black light with me when I go fleamarketing or antiqueing to help me spot cracks and/imperfections in glass and china (among other things) and yes, LOTS of things glow in black light. Being a child of the 60's, I remember it well![]()
