The Old Folks Home

Oh yes! Wanted Dead or Alive is also great.

Dang... I will have to start watching all of those antique shows.

I did watch, but didn't really like the Lone Ranger. Too much singing.... Or was that a different one, with the perpetually singing cowbow?

I could live off of old westerns. INSP station on Directv has all westerns on Saturday and Sunday. Everything from Bonanza to High Chaparral and the Big Valley. On Sunday they have movies. I can still remember sitting with my dad watching old John Wayne movies. Good memories from my younger days.

About the bumblefoot. I have a Welsummer hen that I have been treating for Bumblefoot for the last month. Poor baby had and extensive infection in her foot. She never limped. The only indication of a problem was a swollen foot. I've had to treat that foot twice and have expressed an amazing amount of crud out of it. It's amazing she didn't keel over. The last time I went into the foot I dosed her with Tetracycline and wrapped the foot up with vet wrap. She's a happy girl and let me know when I was hurting her and she had had enough of my TLC. So I agree, they tolerate the treatment well.

You might be thinking of Gene Autry or Roy Rogers?

YEP!!! I like watching Bonanza on Inspiration network too. Reminds me of sitting with my dad and older brothers being forced to watch it. I hated it until my dad decided to turn our black and white TV into a color one by buying one of those "colorizer" plastic sheets that was supposed to make it look like it was in color. You know the ones you stuck to the screen. They were green on the bottom, kind of yellow/brown in the middle (I think) and blue on the top. It was a hoot!! My brothers and I never laughed so hard! Hoss, and the hoss, would start our green, changing colors as he rode up hill until they both wound up a pretty bright sky blue! All accompanied by my crazy brother Chuck's hilarious commentary

My poor dad did not appreciate our sense of humor.
We also get the channel that runs all the old TV shows.

No one has mentioned HeeHaw or Green Acres!!! Loved those stupid shows. I still enjoy Green Acres. Oh and I have all the old Ma and Pa Kettle movies on DVD.

guys I am coming in late - but, I have been having the problem with the "broken" example for reply. for several months. I don't have windows 10 and never want it. I complained on here some time ago and everyone else said their's were fine & unchanged and suggested what I could do and nothing worked. I am still stuck with it and find I cannot use the smilies at all - which greatly hampers my style...

any icon I click shows I must use control + something or other - which I am not able to carry out because of terminal dumbness. I never had trouble with the other display.
