The Old Folks Home

Ron I will keep you in my prayers for your test report.

It's not only bats that you need to be careful with. Our vet once told us that a very large percentage of raccoons that are killed on roads are rabid.

We had a bat in our shop once. It evidently was using the attic as it's sleeping quarters and when we turned on the light it got confused and came downstairs via the trap door which had been left open accidentally. That is as close to one as I want to get.

I sure hope that bat tests negative for you.

The test results will be back on Friday on the rabies test. I will know if I need to get shots then.

This has been a most informative discussion. Did you find any bite marks? Of course, unless you saw it, how would you know a bat licked you? Sorry you have all the inconvenience. Hopefully the next 24+ hours fly by and resolve fortuitously.

Ron, I hope they find that your bat just "made a left turn at Albuquerque," or some such.

Errr, hey, Doc....That's where I live! (literally and figuratively)

Alaskan I was just thinking of you.  To briefly change the subject, I made the  BC mint brownies.  They had loads of green mint chips in them and some  mint icing to drizzle over the top.  The mint flavor was  overpowering and I hate to say  I tossed them out. The chocolate  seemed to be dark chocolate, though it wasn't mentioned on the description.  I don't like dark chocolate either.

But, maybe this all means you would love it.

Thanks but no thanks..

I like my brownies very rich and chocolaty... And with nuts.

Your mint description sounds pretty bad.
